White dove releases in Greater Philadelphia since 1982 | © 2015 LoveWings | info@phillydoves.com
We transport the doves to your event and coordinate the release(s) at the appropriate time. After the doves are released, they circle the area so you and your guests can admire their grace and beauty and then fly home to the spacious garden loft where they were born.
The rock doves we use are related to pigeons (the word pigeon actually means "young dove" in old French.) They are bred from birds capable of flying up to 600 miles, though we limit our releases to a maximum of 50 miles.
Weather can be a factor in a dove release. Because the safety of our birds is our highest priority, we reserve the right to adverse weather, darkness, or other unforeseen environmental issues. In these cases, we refund any fees paid.
in all the years we have done releases, our birds have never had an accident on a client or one of their guests. Should this happen, we will not charge extra for the good luck it will bring!
